Leaf Counselling

Turn over a new leaf today...

About Me

I  am a qualified counsellor who can offer support to adults and young people through various life struggles and challenges. My style is non directive, I do not offer advice nor fix problems, but encourage empowerment, cultivate self reliance, and highlight options and alternatives, to enable an individual to find the solutions within themselves.

My counselling approach holds the individual's needs at the heart of the work, providing a confidential space to explore difficulties and challenges that life inevitably throws at us all at one time or another.

I have a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, this is an integrative qualification which means I have an understanding of a variety of counselling approaches which I can draw upon.

Organisations I have experience with are Rape Crisis, bereavement counselling at a local hospice and Place2Be working with parents and children.

I am based in Frittenden TN17, a quiet village close to Cranbrook in Kent. My counselling room  provides a relaxing and private space.

Talking through worries and concerns, whether big or small, in a place which feels safe and supportive, I believe can be very useful to help encourage clarity of thought and aid emotional balance.

Some of the issues I might be able to support you with are:
Bereavement and Grief
Childhood issues
Divorce and Separation
Health related Concerns
Parenting problems
Personal development
Relationship Issues
Sexual violence and Rape

I can offer short or long term counselling to suit your needs, either over the phone, via Zoom, in person or a blend of all three.

I have a private room to provide face to face sessions if preferred, which upholds the Coronavirus guidelines for safe practice. There is adequate parking and the room is easily accessible.

Sessions from £45.00, each session lasts about one hour.

I have daytime and evening appointments available.

At the present time I am offering counselling sessions over the phone, via Zoom or in person.

People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.

"Change comes about when you become what you are, not when you try to become what you are not."
